Help for bedridden patients in urgent need

The needs of disabled people remain very great, and we understand how important it is to provide them with the necessary support. However, due to limited resources, we are forced to reduce the list of participants, leaving only those who are alone and have particularly urgent needs.
We very much regret that we cannot help everyone who needs it, but we also realize that our physical and financial capabilities are limited. Despite this, we make every effort to ensure that those who remain in our program receive the necessary help and support.

Testimonials

Group psychotherapy

What did you like and learn most from group work?

"Communication, understanding. I learned to express my thoughts. After the sessions and learning self-help techniques, I learned how to help myself. The facilitator (psychologist) communicated in a calm and balanced manner."

Tatyana O.

"I would like to improve friendship, and what I liked most was the understanding, calm, and clear presentation of the material by the facilitator (psychologist). Also, each self - help technique, even little by little, was helpful."

Tamara M.

"Openness, willingness, easy access, and a good approach to people. Useful self - help techniques."

Elena S.

"Openness, group support, I felt heartfelt help. There was enough time to express myself, without any time limits. I learned to truly listen to others and received advice on how to behave at the right moment. All the information was accessible, and I especially liked the themed video clips. I appreciated the facilitator’s (psychologist’s) style - her openness, hospitality, and simple, approachable way of connecting with people. I would recommend this group to others, and whenever I hear that someone is facing difficulties, I already suggest it."

Galina E.

"What I liked the most was the opportunity to speak out and assess my emotional state. I felt support and understanding from other group members, as we shared similar life situations. There was enough time to express myself, and no one interrupted. The facilitator’s (psychologist’s) restraint and understanding were appreciated, and each topic was useful in everyday life. I noticed an improvement in my psychological state - during difficult times, I returned to certain topics and tried to apply them in real life. I learned to evaluate my emotional state and provide myself with support through breathing techniques and by expressing my thoughts. I recommended this group to my neighbor, and she is already attending the sessions. I hope for future meetings on the upcoming topics that will be offered."

Tatyana B.

"I liked the topics, the communication, and I wish the meetings were held more often. I learned to listen to others, share my own experiences, and found the 'Hug' technique and breathing exercises to be especially helpful."

Galina G.

"Kindness and shared life experience within the group. I looked forward to each session with joy. The meetings were well thought out, and there was an optimistic atmosphere both during and after the sessions. Other participants gave me advice that helped me see my problem from a completely different perspective and approach it differently. When I talked about my problems, I was listened to attentively and then received helpful suggestions. The facilitator (psychologist) listened to everyone and asked guiding questions that made it easier for people to open up. My psychological state became more stable. I learned patience and how to stop myself using various techniques - for example, calming techniques."

Iryna L.

"What I liked about the group work was that everyone shared something, and I also had the opportunity to speak out. The facilitator’s (psychologist’s) guidance was calm and easy to understand. Through the group sessions, I learned the 'Thermometer' technique and breathing exercises."

Nina P.

"What I enjoyed the most was the communication, getting to know the group members, and the tea gatherings. I also liked listening to how other participants live their lives. For me, everything was very good. Coming to the sessions gave me the chance to talk through my life - my joys and hardships. The facilitator (psychologist), young and pleasant, knows how to listen to everyone and offer advice - guidance for older age. She helped bring us back into society."
